Brahim Fribgane, oud player and percussionist, was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, and currently lives in New York City.

His musical background of North African, Gnawa, Berber, Arabic and Andulusian music is the foundation for his unique sound, whether he's playing folkloric Berber songs, beautifully complex and soulful Arabic melodies, American pop or the fusion of jazz, samba, reggae or Indian compositions. His musical versatility is boundless.

Brahim has had the privilege to perform with such amazing artists as Dr. L. Subramaniam, Medeski Martin & Wood, Leni Stern, Club d'Elf, Sami Yusuf, Hassan Hakmoun, Will Calhoun, Adam Rudolph, Zakir Hussein, Giovanni Hidalgo, Hamid Drake, Selva Ganesh, Steve Gorn, Larry Coryell, Reggie Workman, Hubert Laws, Corey Segal, Adam Deitch, Pete Seeger, Amit Chattergee, to name a few.
